RedBlackClear Enameled Copper
Named after the short-lived 1970s Italian television program Stryx, this fire-enameled copper dish is produced by fusing powdered glass to metal to achieve a thick, vitrified surface. Its cosmic motif pulls from the show’s staged occult imagery—black velvet backdrops, metallic body paint, and ritual gestures lit in saturated color. The radiating form echoes that atmosphere: uneven, flame-like extensions pushing out from a dense center.

Part of our Disco Aperitivo collection, Stryx recalls a material language of enameled copper that was once prevalent in Italian decorative arts of the late 20th century, now less commonly seen. The enamel holds light with a lacquered intensity, shifting between glow and shadow depending on angle.
